• Circle of Cultures: Once in a Lifetime Experience

• WHAT a privilege it was for us to participate in the Circle of Cultures, Lewis & Clark National Signature Event. Hosted on the University of Mary campus, just north of the monastery, the Oct. 22-31 event drew an estimated 50,000 people including 10,000 schoolchildren. Among the many exhibits was the National Park Service’s Corps of Discovery II, “Tent of Many Voices,” a traveling dialogue and interpretation of the Lewis and Clark expedition, and educational and interpretive programs by the Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Land Management.
