Lent Oblate Retreat - All are welcome!
Begin the holy season of Lent on Sun., March 5, with the Oblates of Annunciation Monastery.
This Lenten retreat will be directed by Sister Kathleen Atkinson, beginning at 10 a.m. The retreat includes Eucharistic Liturgy and lunch, and ends at 3 p.m.
The theme of the retreat will be based on the book, "The Road to Eternal Life." Sister Kathleen explains, "Lent is a time that invites all people to a more intentional journey of spiritual growth. Using the Prologue of the Rule of Benedict as a lens, this retreat will consider the training we undertake, the terrain through which we journey, and the travel companions at our side."
Oblates are women and men of diverse faiths, who associate themselves with a monastery and live according to the Rule of St. Benedict, as their state in life allows. Oblates are supported through monthly oblate meetings, reading and sharing, as well as through the prayers of the Sisters of Annunciation Monastery. All are welcome. There is no charge to attend.
For more information about the Oblates of Annunciation Monastery, contact Sister Patricia or Sister Rosemary at 701-255-1520.

Labyrinth Prayer Path
Persons of all faiths and ages are welcome to walk the labyrinth, located just east of the monastery, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Because it is a sacred path, persons walking the labyrinth are asked to respect the prayerful presence of the space and those who come for personal reflection. Near the entrance of the labyrinth you will find some information in a container which may serve as a guide.
NOTE: Preregistration is required for all of the above. The suggested donation is to help defray our cost. However, nobody is turned away for lack of funds. For more information, please contact Sister Gemma Peters at 701-255-1520.
