Come in from the chill of winter and experience
warm Benedictine hospitality! A vocation live-in retreat for women will be held
the weekend of January 23 and 24 at Annunciation Monastery.
Start your New Year right by listening to God's
call for your life. Perhaps you are being called to become a Benedictine
Sister of Annunciation Monastery! Enjoy prayer, meals, conversation and
recreation with the sisters and spend private time in reflection. Meals
and a private room will be provided. No charge. Pre-registration is

Explore Your Call Sundays
This gathering includes time to reflect with
others on Scripture and other readings related to how to be attentive to hearing
one's call and responding to it. It is a time to ask: "What is God calling
me to be?"

T'ai Chi Chih®Joy Thru Movement -
Praying with Movements
During the T'ai Chi Chih sessions, you will learn
non-strenuous, meditative movements which enable you to experience serenity,
emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. This is often referred to as a
moving meditation.
Dates: Tuesdays, February 2, 9, 16, 23 and
March 2, 9, 16, 23

Prairie as Lenten Desert: Exploring the
Landscape of Your Soul
We often hear Lent referred to as a desert time.
How does our North Dakota landscape fit that metaphor, and how can we deepen our
Lenten experience this year through greater awareness of the gifts of our
surroundings?

Mini-retreat: Living Benedictine
Monastic Values in Daily Life
During this mini retreat, you will explore
Benedictine values and discover ways they provide depth, purpose, direction and
meaning in your daily living. The retreat will also afford periods of prayerful
silence and space providing an opportunity for you to listen and reflect on ways
that God may be calling you to embrace change, growth, renewal and
transformation.

Renew Your Inner Spirit at Our
Hospitality Center
The monastery is a perfect place for quiet time to
relax, read and pray in a restful setting. It is a place for: individual
and/or directed retreat, for self-directed renewal times, for days or times of
solitude in private, for spiritual direction.

Direction - Do you desire to grow in your
relationship with God and become more aware of God in your daily life?
Perhaps God is inviting you to seek spiritual direction. Your desire to deepen
your relationship with God grows as you discover God's abiding
love and care for you. Several spiritual directors are

about spiritual direction.
T'ai Chi Chih®Joy
Thru Movement Follow-Up Sessions-
Deepen your commitment to daily
practice by joining others each month to review movements that
release stress and foster inner peace. You must have completed
eight instruction sessions prior to these sessions.
Dates: Sessions are
held Dec. 13, Feb. 10, March 3, April 14, May 12.
(3:30 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.) Led by Sister Eleanor Stockert. Donation accepted.
Ongoing Support
Sessions on Centering Prayer - Deepen your
relationship with God by joining others in Centering Prayer, a
prayer of silence. Must have had Intro to Centering Prayer
sessions. Each session includes centering, silence and Lectio on
Scripture.
Dates: These sessions are held Jan. 4, Feb. 1, March 1, April 5,
May 3 (7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.). Led by Sister
Patricia Schap. Donation accepted.
Group Retreat or
Reflection - Arrange a time for reflection, prayer
and/or retreat for your group. Bring your own leader or
inquire if someone from the Center could facilitate the retreat.
Facilities and lunch are available. Call Sister Gemma at

arrangements.
Outreach Programs
- Speakers from the monastery are available to present
programs in your locality. Call for information.
Labyrinth Walk - Experience our beautiful
scenery and prayerfully walk our outdoor labyrinth on your own. Are you pondering your
relationship with God, self, others? Perhaps walking the labyrinth will
refresh your spirit and you might find some of the answers you are looking for.
Pre-registration is not required as you are welcome to walk our
labyrinth any time between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The
suggested donation is a free will offering to help defray the
cost of our spiritual programs. However, no one in
need of services will be turned away for lack of finances.
