Oblate Lenten Retreat - March 4 (10 am to 3 pm)
Emptiness as Fullness: What we long for is what we receive
All are welcome to join our sisters and oblates for our Lenten retreat on Sunday, March 4, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Join Sister Rosemary DeGracia as she guides us through the day of exploring the two calls we receive in the season of Lent. One is to embrace emptiness as a way of making space for God. The other is to seek fullness as a Christian.
The retreat will begin at 10 a.m., with Eucharistic Liturgy at 11 a.m., followed by a light lunch, and the afternoon portion of the retreat.
Oblates are women and men of varied Christian faiths who associate with a Benedictine monastery and live according to the Rule of St. Benedict as their state in life permits. Oblates are supported through monthly meetings, relationships with the Sisters of Annunciation Monastery and other oblates, and prayer. All are welcome to attend oblate meetings and retreats at no charge. For more information, feel free to contact oblate director, Sister Patricia Schap, or Sister Rosemary DeGracia, assistant director of oblates, at
*Sister Rosemary currently serves the monastic community of Annunciation Monastery as Subprioress and has worked with Benedictine oblate programs for many years.
